We have used Darren and his team at our place a few times now – from large makeovers (including retaining walls, steps, fencing and paving, to smaller jobs where where they’ve modernised our garden with clever design and plant selection. Following the renovation of our house, our back yard and garden were a disaster. After seeing the great work they had done on our neighbour’s backyard, we contacted Appleseed and spoke with Darren. Darren has a strong and practical sense of contemporary garden design and a vast knowledge of horticulture which was invaluable in helping us plan our subtropical garden in suburban Newtown – both the structure/layout and the plants that would be best suited to the area. This was done without the hard sell or pretence of some other garden designers we’d approached. Darren’s team were the most engaged, organised and professional tradespeople that we had worked with during our entire renovation. They were always on time, nothing was too much trouble, and at the end of each day the garden was left tidy and organised. The end result is a wonderful garden that has extended our living space, seamlessly blending the interior and exterior living environments, and importantly was delivered on budget. The garden established quickly and is lush, green and welcoming and we love it. We can’t recommend Darren and his team highly enough – they are the consummate professionals.
